The owners of Brautarholt 22 request permission to raise the building by two floors
Reykjavík’s planning representative has approved that two floors on the Nóatún side raise the building at Brautarholt 22. The upper floor will be recessed.
At the meeting of the planning representative on November 2, 2023, ALVA Capital ehf.’s inquiry, dated October 23, 2023, was submitted regarding a change in the zoning of Skipholtsreit regarding plot no. 22 at Brautarholt. This is a spacious and prominent house on the corner of Nóatún and Brautarholt. Today, there is accommodation on the upper floors of the building (22 Hill Hotel) and a restaurant on the 1st floor (Pottirinn og pann). It is partly run as a service unit for the property. The building also has offices, a shop, and the Þórshamar karate club with a sports hall in operation.
