Four new employees to Alva.
Josip Budimir, Sigríður Katrín Kristbjörnsdóttir, Dóra Lind Vigfúsdóttir, and Gunnar Ólafsson have been hired for Alva.

- Josip Budimir – Director of IT Division
For most of his career, Josip has been responsible for the design and implementation of IT and financial technology solutions for large companies, working for various companies such as the World Bank and the Croatian Vehicle Registry.
Josip is responsible for the company’s technical development and leads project work. Josip holds a BsEE degree in electrical engineering from the University of Zagreb.
- Sigríður Katrín Kristbjörnsdóttir – Finance Director.
Sigríður is a certified public accountant who worked at Ernst & Young for eight years. Sigríður has an MS in auditing and accounting from the University of Reykjavík and a BS in business administration.
She has considerable experience in the financial management of financial technology companies and has, since 2014, managed the finances of the collection company Inkasso and the receivables financing company Faktoría.
- Gunnar Ólafsson – Project manager.
Gunnar Ólafsson leads various financial technology projects for Alva. Still, he came to the foundation of Netgíró and led, among other things, the structure and sales management of the company in the years 2013 – 2016. He worked as a sales and marketing manager at Aha and was the sales manager of a new business in the international field of Valitor.
Gunnar completed IPMA-D in project management in 2015, but before that, he had completed an MBA from Copenhagen Business School and a BS in business administration from Reykjavík University.

- Dóra Lind Vigfúsdóttir – Director of the collection department.
Dóra Lind has worked as manager of Vergo software solutions and operations manager of Myntu. Dóra Lind has an MBA from the University of Iceland and a BA in English and media studies from the same school.
She has years of experience in billing and managing customer services but is responsible for Alva’s billing strategy and its implementation.
