Haukur appointed Móberg’s financial director.
Haukur Skúlason has been appointed financial director of Móbergs ehf. and has already started working.
Móberg owns several companies, namely Hópkaupa, Skífunnar, and Leitar.is, Netgíros, Blands, 433.13, Wedo and Móa Media.
Haukur brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Over the past decade, he has honed his financial acumen at Glitni and later Íslandsbanki. His journey led him to Íslandssjóðum, a subsidiary of Íslandsbanki, where he served as a project manager for venture investments. He then assumed the role of director of venture investments at VÍB. Haukur’s expertise was further recognized when he was appointed as the director of analysis and strategic planning in the commercial banking division of Íslandsbanki.
Haukur was then the chairman of FAST-1 slhf, one of the country’s largest real estate companies, a board member at Kreditkortur hf., and before that, a member of the board of the Frumtaki entrepreneur fund.
Haukur’s academic journey is equally impressive. He earned his M.B.A. in Finance from Rice University, Jesse H. Jones graduated from the School of Management in 2005 and earned a B.Sc. in business administration from the University of Iceland in 2001. His educational foundation was laid at the Iceland Business School, where he completed his matriculation.
