Hrafn and Helgi Björn have arrived in Alva.

The financial technology company Alva, which operates Netgíró, Aktiva, and Inkasso, has hired Hrafn Árnason as the managing director of Alva’s business development and Helga Björn Kristinsson as the managing director of Netgíró.
Hrafn will oversee all business development at Alva and its three subsidiaries: Netgíro, Inkasso, and Aktiva. He will also be the managing director of Aktiva.
Hrafn has an MBA from the University of Edinburgh (2007) and a Cand. oecon in business studies from the University of Iceland (1998). For the past 19 years, Hrafn has, among other things, been managing director at Landsbréf and Kaupþing and a director at Íslandsbanki. Hrafn is married to manager Inga Birna Ragnarsdóttir, and they have three children.

Helgi Björn Kristinsson has a BA in political science from the University of Iceland (1992) and an MBA from Reykjavík University (2006).
He has worked at Íslandsbanki as a director and project manager for the past decade. Still, before that, he was the manager of the revenue department of 365 Media, sales manager at Plastprenti and Toyota, as well as working in marketing consulting at PWC.
Helgi Björn has held various confidential positions for non-profit organizations, taught at the secondary school level, and held courses for companies and non-profit organizations. He is married to Helga Ólaf, and they have three children.
